Charming Baden
Once an imperial summer residence, where the Romans used to bathe in sulfur springs long ago, today a modern spa town on the edge of the Vienna Woods, inviting visitors to relax and enjoy themselves. BADENER ROSARIUM
Austria's largest rose garden is inviting during all four seasons for a nice stroll, giving yout to contemplate the world. On 75,000 m² and 30,000 rose bushes, around 800 rose with sounding names such as "Goldmarie" and "Empress Elisabeth".
DREIFALTIGKEITSSÄULE
The construction of this unique, Baroque monument was decided in 1713 and executed according to the designs of the painter Altomonte by the Italian sculptor Giovanni Stanetti.
BEETHOVENHAUS
Ludwig van Beethoven regularly went for spa to Baden. In the town of the summer resort of Emperor Franz I and his family cavorted with aristocracy and bourgeoisie. In fact the great composer was sponsored by the Emperor.
CASINO BADEN
It was built in 1886 as a spa and remained one until 1934. The planning by architects Eugen Fassbender and Maximilian Katscher was transferred by the acting mayor Oskar Alexander Graf Christalnigg to Gilitzstein.
HISTORISCHER KURPARK
At 52 hectares the Baden spa park is the largest spa parks in Europe and rich in history as well. In addition to beautiful scenery, tranquility and recreation, the spa park offers many historical attractions.
ARNULF RAINER MUSEUM
Arnulf Rainer, born in 1929 in Baden, has an importance to art history that is uncontested. He is the founder of Art Informel in Austria, and his ‘overpaintings’, developed in the 1950s, made his name well beyond Austria's borders, and cemented his fame among fellow international artists.

Only a few minutes walk from our guesthouse, the thermal lido offers around 42,000 square meters of spa tradition. Feel good, do good - for body and soul - that is the philosophy of the Baden thermal baths. Nature lovers will find numerous excursion destinations and picturesque hiking trails in the surrounding area. The golf courses around Baden invite enthusiasts to atmospheric round of golf.
KULTURWEG HELENENTAL
This route follows the lovely Helenental with its "Wegerl" (picturesque walk) along the river Schwechat, then on to the ascent to Siegenfeld and the White Cross.
THERMALBAD
Lots of water and the largest sandy beach in Austria. It includes pools for children and youngsters with the most modern pool landscape, sports, fun and games, but also rest and relaxation on 42,000 m2.
GOLFCLUB BRUNN
Nestled in a varied garden landscape and quite near to Vienna, the course offers all the advantages of a sophisticated and beautiful golf course.
BEETHOVEN SPAZIERWEG
On the approximately 14 km long path through the Föhrenberge Nature Park which takes you 400 meters up in altitude. But the great view rewards the effort.

15 minutes on foot, on the way to the city center, is the Café Restaurant Doblhoffpark at the park pond. Excellent Viennese cuisine, seasonal dishes but also a tip for lovers of ice cream, cake and coffee.

21 minutes on foot, right on the main square, the Amterl offers its guests, in addition to excellent cuisine, inexpensive menus and fine wines, a garden in the middle of the pedestrian area.

7 minutes on foot, strongly influenced by the region, the Weilburghof offers hearty regional cuisine, a snack to quell the hunger, or a glass of wine.

21 minutes on foot, next to the Beethovenhaus in the center of Baden, the restaurant San Marco offers Italian dishes, excellent wines and a cozy garden.

21 minutes on foot, directly on the main square, the Café Central invites you to rest in the ambiente of Baden's Biedermeier style.
CASINO BADEN
27 minutes on foot, in the spa park of Baden, the Casino Summer Lounge offers a nice atmosphere, with cocktails and snacks in the open air, if the weather is right. Definitely worth a visit!
